In early January of 2008 I was able to experience my first cruise. From working with people who have done a number of cruises and knowing friends who have worked on ships I have heard some wonderful stories about cruising. I am happy to say that all the good things I have heard about cruising is completely true. The food, phenominal! Activities, never got around to half of them. The shows, top notch!! Staff, amazing! And the food.... Best ever!! Did I mention the food?

I recently returned from a 4-night Baja California and Mexico cruise on Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas. We flew into Los Angeles on Air Canada and stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

I went on a Carnival Cruise Dec.15-22 and had a great time! We travelled the Exotic Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Triumph, which included stops to Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, St. Thomas, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. I really enjoyed these ports and would definitely recommend a cruise as a way to see places you may not normally get a chance to see on your own.
