I had the pleasure of traveling on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas on a short jaunt to Bermuda and back. We left out of Cape Liberty, a little chilly for October but it wouldn't be long before we'd be heading for the island of pink sand.

...We were in the outback! We stayed at a resort called the Voyages Sails in the Desert, a 5-star property with a super sweet pool area. You could sit in the pool to cool down from the 40-degree weather, then hop out to the side to read a book or have a beer. It is only about 10 minutes away from the rock, which is a sacred site for the local people. We went to an event called the Sounds of Silence dinner, which was one of the most amazing experiences I had while in Australia.

Had the wonderful opportunity to sail on the Explorer of the Seas for the second time, and once again renewed my love of cruising with Royal Caribbean.
