This is a wonderful resort in Varadero. It is an adults only resort and in Sandals fashion caters to couples and honeymooners alike.
Located on a beautiful white-sand beach this resort is a stunning property. The restaurants offer a large selection and the food is impressive. My personal favourite was the beach restaurant. There is no better place for a romantic dinner than on the beach overlooking the sun set over the water....they even take a picture of you with the sunset in the backround at no cost.
The staff at this resort were some of the nicest people I have ever met- each and everyone went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a great time.

If you are visiting Sandals Hicacos on your honeymoon they have a special honeymooner's dinner once a week. You are treated to a lovely dinner complete with candlelight and wedding march like music played live in the restaurant. Ladies are treated flowers as well.

There is a lot to do on the resort both day and night-- the nightly entertainment is just great at this resort.

If you would like to leave the resort to explore there is tons to do. I would suggest the Havana city trips. You get to spend the day exploring the culture of Havana and the night dancing at one of their popular nightclubs. Also included is a one night stay in a Havana hotel before heading back to Varadero the next day.

Another must do is visiting the Tropicale show just outside of Varadero- those who love live theatre will be amazed at this song and dance show.
